IL SB1377

Increases the number of certified general real estate appraiser members on the Real Estate Appraisal Administration and Disciplinary Board from 4 to 6 members with at least 5 years of active engagement and current licensure.

Removes the requirement for 2 board members to hold valid licenses as real estate brokers in addition to appraiser licenses, eliminating paragraph (5) of the membership qualifications.

Maintains existing board composition of 10 appointed members plus the Coordinator of the Real Estate Appraisal Division, with requirements for residential appraisers, financial institution representatives, and public interest representatives.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
