Deletes language from unlawful weapons statute that prohibited rifles or shotguns modified to have overall length less than 26 inches.

Permits active members of nationally recognized military re-enacting groups to possess rifles with barrels less than 16 inches if modification is required for historical accuracy and member holds valid re-enacting group membership credential.

Removes requirement that overall length of modified weapons must be at least 26 inches for the military re-enactor exemption.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
