Amends stalking and aggravated stalking provisions in the Criminal Code of 2012 (720 ILCS 5/12-7.3 and 12-7.4) to expand exemptions for certain monitoring activities.

Extends statutory exemptions to include employees of governmental entities who monitor or are attentive to compliance with public safety laws, worker safety laws, wage and hour requirements, or other statutory requirements.

Limits the governmental employee exemption to situations where monitoring or attentiveness occurs at the workplace or worksite only.

Maintains existing exemptions for lawful picketing related to bona fide labor disputes and lawful exercise of free speech or assembly rights.

Preserves liability protections for telecommunications carriers, mobile service providers, and Internet service providers except in cases of willful and wanton misconduct.
