IL SB1535

Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act to add new subsection (a-5) allowing the Department of State Police to issue concealed carry licenses with a licensee's new address if they move to another state.

Maintains existing requirements in subsection (a) that licensees notify the Department within 30 days of moving or changing their name and submit the requisite fee.

Preserves existing provisions requiring licensees to notify the Department within 10 days of discovering a lost, destroyed, or stolen license and submit required documentation for replacement.

Establishes a petty offense with a $150 fine deposited into the Mental Health Reporting Fund for violations of address change or lost/stolen license notification requirements.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
