IL SB1579

Amends the Illinois Brand Act to require the Department to make recorded brand information available in electronic format instead of publishing it in book form.

Removes the requirement to publish supplemental brand lists at least once each year.

Changes brand book contents to include an image of all brands recorded (replacing "facsimile"), the owner's name, and legal mailing address.

Eliminates the requirement to furnish free copies of the brand book and supplements to county clerks and sheriffs.

Repeals Sections 12 and 13 of the Illinois Brand Act and takes effect upon becoming law.
