IL SB1588

Restricts brewers, class 1 brewers, and class 2 brewers from selling beer on licensed premises that bears another brewer's name or where the brand and intellectual property rights are not owned or controlled by the manufacturing brewer.

Prohibits class 1 brewers from self-distributing beer manufactured on their premises that bears another manufacturer's name or is not owned or controlled by the class 1 brewer.

Applies similar restrictions to craft distillers, preventing them from selling spirits on licensed premises that bear another distiller's name or where brand and intellectual property rights are not owned or controlled by the manufacturing craft distiller.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
