IL SB1674

Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act by removing the requirement that non-resident license applications must come from states or territories with firearm laws substantially similar to Illinois law.

Allows non-residents from any state or territory to apply for concealed carry licenses if they meet all other qualifications, except the Illinois residency requirement.

Requires non-resident applicants to provide notarized documentation of eligibility under federal and home state law, training certificates, and a recent photograph.

Permits non-residents to transport concealed firearms within their vehicles in Illinois without a license if they possess a valid concealed carry permit from their home state and are not prohibited under federal law.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
