Removes "General Revenue Fund" language from Section 2(8) of the State Fire Marshal Act regarding grants to areas without fire protection districts for organizational expenses.

Changes funding source for Fire Fighting Medal of Honor Committee member expenses from "Office of the Governor" to "Office of the State Fire Marshal" in the Law Enforcement and Fire Fighting Medal of Honor Act.

Maintains State Fire Marshal's existing powers and duties including arson investigation, fire record-keeping, boiler and pressure vessel safety, fire protection training administration, and technical assistance to fire protection districts.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
