IL SB1879

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code Section 3-704.2 concerning failure to satisfy fines or penalties for toll violations.

Makes a technical correction by removing duplicate language "the" in subsection (a) where it states the Authority's certified report must be received.

Applies to vehicle owners with 5 or more unpaid toll violations or evasions who fail to satisfy fines or penalties imposed by the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority.

Authorizes the Secretary of State to suspend vehicle registration of persons who fail to pay toll violation fines after receiving certified reports from the Authority.

Establishes procedures for notification, administrative hearings, and appeals, with a $20 filing fee for hearing requests and Authority reimbursement to the Secretary for related administrative costs.
