Defines "hearing instrument" as wearable non-disposable devices designed to aid impaired hearing, including parts and attachments like ear molds but excluding batteries and cords.

Limits hearing aid replacements to once every 12 months, but allows replacement at any time if there is a significant change in the insured individual's hearing status.

Requires coverage of related services including audiological exams, replacement ear molds, and hearing aid repairs when prescribed by a hearing care professional.

Permits insurers to deny claims for hearing aids if the same insured filed a claim for a hearing aid within 12 months prior and that claim was paid by any insurer.
