Creates the Agriculture Education Shortage Task Force to address teacher shortages in agriculture education, which was designated an area of critical need in Illinois under Public Act 99-826.

Task Force composition includes 4 legislative members (one from each party in both chambers), State Board of Education representative, three professional teachers' association representatives, community college and university agriculture education teachers, and representatives from superintendent, principal, and school board associations, plus education advocacy and policy organization representatives.

State Superintendent of Education must appoint members within 30 days and call the first meeting within 60 days; task force must meet at least 3 times to review teacher numbers, program graduates, job openings, and licensure standards.

Task Force shall issue a report by January 1, 2019 with recommendations on recruitment and retention of agriculture teachers, federal program participation, and other relevant subjects, approved by majority vote.

Task Force is dissolved upon filing its report, and this section is repealed on February 1, 2019.
