SB2037 Summary

• Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to allow licensed motor vehicle dealers to choose any 6 days of the week for sales, replacing the previous prohibition on Sunday sales.

• Modifies the definition of "off site sale" to exclude "any other day chosen by a dealer" in addition to Sundays, giving dealers flexibility in selecting closure days.

• Removes the restriction that off-site sale permits cannot authorize vehicle sales on Sundays, allowing dealers to conduct off-site sales on days of their choosing.

• Makes conforming changes to Section 5-106 regarding established and additional places of business to align with the new 6-day sales week flexibility.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
