• Appropriates $98,121,600 total for Illinois Department of Agriculture ordinary and contingent expenses for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017: $18,980,200 from General Funds, $65,888,100 from Other State Funds, and $13,253,300 from Federal Funds.

• Allocates funds across multiple operational divisions including Administrative Services, Computer Services, Agriculture Regulation, Marketing, Weights and Measures, Animal Industries, Meat and Poultry Inspection, Land and Water Resources, and Environmental Programs.

• Provides funding for special programs including the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program ($2,600,000) and State Cooperative Extension Service Trust Fund deposits totaling $13,443,900.
