Appropriates $42,639,000 total for the Office of the State Fire Marshal for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017: $41,639,000 from other state funds and $1,000,000 from federal funds.

Allocates $21,739,800 from the Fire Prevention Fund for general office operations including personal services ($8,788,300), retirement contributions ($4,746,800), group insurance ($2,472,000), and equipment ($1,371,700).

Allocates $3,954,300 from the Underground Storage Tank Fund for personal services ($1,856,100), retirement contributions ($1,002,500), and related operational expenses.

Appropriates $13,207,900 for specialized programs and grants including Chicago Fire Department training ($2,747,000), fire truck and station revolving loan funds ($5,000,000 combined), small equipment grants ($3,000,000), and Illinois Fire Museum maintenance ($1,000,000).

Takes effect July 1, 2017, only if Senate Bill 2063 (the Unbalanced Budget Response Act) becomes law.
