• Requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services' Inspector General to report all suspected cases of provider fraud to the State's Attorney of the county where the fraud occurred, or to the Attorney General or U.S. Attorneys offices in Illinois.

• Mandates that suspected fraud cases involving vendors, medical providers, or other medical assistance program participants must be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
