IL SB2204

Amends the State Finance Act by removing mandatory transfer provisions from the University of Illinois Hospital Services Fund statute (30 ILCS 105/6z-30).

Eliminates requirement for $30,000,000 one-time transfer from General Revenue Fund in fiscal year 2010.

Eliminates requirement for $45,000,000 annual transfers starting in fiscal year 2011, including the special $90,000,000 transfer in fiscal year 2012 and the suspension of transfers in fiscal year 2013.

Retains provisions allowing the fund to receive intergovernmental transfer payments from University of Illinois, federal matching funds, and other moneys for healthcare services reimbursement.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
