Individuals performing inspection and testing of fire sprinkler systems must carry a photo identification card issued annually by the State Fire Marshal as proof of compliance with the Act.

All inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems must be recorded on inspection reports issued by the State Fire Marshal and forwarded to the State Fire Marshal within 24 hours of completion.

Fire sprinkler systems must be affixed with pre-printed labels bearing the inspector's name, licensee's license number, and information about the contractor who installed or repaired the system; labels must be purchased from the State Fire Marshal.

The State Fire Marshal shall establish a database of all persons involved in inspection or testing of fire sprinkler systems and control equipment.

Fees for photo identification cards, inspection forms, and licenses shall be determined by the State Fire Marshal by rule.
