Appropriates $400,000 from the Off-Highway Vehicle Trails Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for grants to local governments, not-for-profit organizations, and other groups to operate, maintain, and acquire land for off-highway vehicle trails and parks under the Recreational Trails of Illinois Act.

Appropriates an additional $2,204,971 from the Off-Highway Vehicle Trails Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for the same purposes: grants for operating, maintaining, and acquiring land for off-highway vehicle trails and parks.

Funds may be used for administration, enforcement, planning, and implementation of the Recreational Trails of Illinois Act.

Total capital appropriation to Department of Natural Resources is $2,604,971.

The Act takes effect upon becoming law.
