IL SB2256

Amends the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act by adding Section 31 to require annual budget implementation reports starting January 1, 2019, and each January 1 thereafter.

Requires the Governor's Office of Management and Budget to compile reports detailing all grant agreements entered into by State awarding agencies during the previous calendar year.

Each report must include the total cost of each project, detailed line items per GOMB guidelines, and the specified purpose for each project.

Reports must be submitted to the General Assembly and posted on the GOMB website for public access.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
