Renames Section 2a of the Public Officer Prohibited Activities Act from "Township supervisors and trustees" to "Township officials"

Changes terminology from "fireman" to "firefighter" for township officials allowed to serve as volunteers

Adds new subsection (b) effective with the 100th General Assembly prohibiting elected township officials (trustees, supervisors, highway commissioners, clerks, assessors, collectors) from being employed by the township, with an exception for volunteer firefighter service

Exempts violations of the new employment prohibition in subsection (b) from the Class 4 felony penalties and office vacation provisions in Section 4

Clarifies that township officials may hold elected office in other units of local government provided there is no contractual relationship between the township and the other government unit
