IL SB2318

Amends Section 1-100 of the Illinois Vehicle Code to make a technical change to the short title provision.

Removes a redundant instance of the word "the" from the statute's opening citation language.

Maintains all existing short titles for chapters 2-18d of the Illinois Vehicle Code, including provisions for vehicle registration, driver licensing, safety, equipment, inspection, and commercial transportation laws.

Effective date remains July 1, 2008 (from prior enactment P.A. 95-562).
