Amends Section 9-2 of the Liquor Control Act of 1934 to make a technical change regarding referenda on retail sales of alcoholic liquor.

Changes the language from "the the" to "the" in the provision describing when legal voters of a precinct in cities, villages, or incorporated towns with more than 200,000 inhabitants can petition for a referendum on prohibiting alcoholic liquor sales.

Maintains existing procedural requirements for filing petitions (at least 104 days before election), signature thresholds (25% of registered voters for precinct-wide bans, 40% for specific street addresses), and election notice provisions.

Preserves rules allowing multiple petitions for the same proposition to be provisionally accepted, with preference given to the first properly filed petition.
