Amends the Registered Surgical Assistant and Registered Surgical Technologist Title Protection Act to change certification requirements for surgical assistants.

Replaces "National Surgical Assistant Association" with "National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants" as an approved certifying body for surgical assistant registration.

Requires surgical assistants to maintain current certification from approved organizations to renew their registration.

Requires surgical technologists to maintain current certification as required by Section 50 to renew their registration.

Becomes effective upon becoming law.
