Storm shelters must withstand wind speeds of 200 miles per hour and provide 12 square feet of floor space per mobile home pad in the park.

Shelters must have a minimum ceiling height of 7 feet, 2 exits (with at least one accessible to individuals with disabilities), and underground electrical service.

Requires interior lighting and emergency lighting supplied by storage batteries or on-site generator, with centralized location in relation to all mobile homes.

Allows multi-purpose facilities to satisfy storm shelter requirements if they contain an area meeting all specified standards.
