Department of Transportation must publish on its website all data related to business enterprise programs, including studies, disparity analyses, and lists of contractors participating in disadvantaged business enterprise programs, to assist municipalities, counties, and road districts in establishing regional goals.

Beginning July 1, 2018, municipalities, counties, and road districts receiving more than $1,000,000 in motor fuel tax distributions in the previous fiscal year must implement a business enterprise program with goals for minority, veteran, and female-owned businesses in both professional services and construction procurement to remain eligible for funding.

Implemented business enterprise programs must be substantially similar to the State's program for the region where the municipality, county, or road district is located.

Department of Transportation must prepare and publish on its website a list of all affected municipalities, counties, and road districts subject to the business enterprise program requirement.

Department of Transportation is not responsible for implementing or enforcing local business enterprise programs; it only provides data as a public resource.
