Extends the reporting deadline for the Agriculture Education Shortage Task Force from January 1, 2019 to January 1, 2021.

Removes the provision that automatically dissolved the Task Force upon filing its report, allowing it to continue operating beyond the reporting date.

Extends the repeal date of the Task Force statute from February 1, 2019 to February 1, 2021.

The Task Force continues to review agriculture educator numbers, university program graduates, position openings, and licensure standards, and must issue recommendations on recruitment and retention strategies.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
