Department of Public Health shall develop, provide, or approve informational materials for school districts regarding influenza and influenza vaccinations and meningococcal disease and meningococcal vaccinations consistent with Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

School boards must include Department of Public Health informational materials on influenza, influenza vaccinations, meningococcal disease, and meningococcal vaccinations when providing information to parents or guardians about immunizations, infectious diseases, medications, or other school health issues.

Department of Public Health shall continue to develop educational materials on meningitis for distribution in elementary and secondary schools and comply with the new influenza and meningococcal disease vaccine information requirements.
