IL SB2756

Amends the Open Meetings Act by making a technical change to Section 1.02 concerning definitions.

Corrects duplicate language by removing one instance of the word "the" in the definition section for purposes of the Act.

Maintains the definition of "meeting" to include in-person and remote communications (video, audio, electronic mail, chat, instant messaging) among a majority of a quorum of public body members discussing public business.

Clarifies that for 5-member public bodies, 3 members constitute a quorum and 3 affirmative votes are necessary to adopt motions, resolutions, or ordinances unless a greater number is required.
