Requires every registered interior designer to have a seal or stamp containing their name, registration number, and the words "Registered Interior Designer of Illinois"

Allows seals to be generated by computer for technical submissions, with signatures provided as original handwriting, scanned copies, or computer-generated options

Establishes that using a registered interior designer's seal on technical submissions represents that the work was prepared by or under the personal supervision of that designer and meets accepted interior design standards and professional skill requirements

Prohibits affixing one's seal to technical submissions if it masks the true identity of the person who actually directed, controlled, and supervised the work's preparation

Exempts registered interior designers from liability for damages caused by subsequent unauthorized changes or uses of their sealed technical submissions by others, including government agencies

Takes effect January 1, 2019
