IL SB3040

Amends the Economic Development for a Growing Economy Tax Credit Act by modifying Section 5-40 concerning determination of the tax credit amount.

Makes a technical correction by removing a duplicative word ("the") in the section describing how the Committee and Department determine the credit amount.

Retains all eight factors used to evaluate tax credit applications, including job creation, economic impact, wage levels, capital investment, and costs to Illinois.
