Grant amounts under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program may not vary based on a recipient's county of residence.

TANF maximum benefit levels shall increase according to a schedule: 30% of federal poverty guidelines beginning October 1, 2018; 40% beginning October 1, 2019; 50% beginning October 1, 2020; and annually adjusted to 50% of federal poverty guidelines beginning October 1, 2021 and each year thereafter.

TANF grants for child-only assistance units must be at least 75% of TANF grants for assistance units of the same size consisting of a caretaker relative with children.

Department of Human Services shall establish minimum reimbursement amounts of at least $1,000 for funeral services and at least $500 for burial or cremation services, adjusted for Consumer Price Index increases.

The Act takes effect upon becoming law.
