Amends the Probate Act of 1975 to modify the classification of claims against a decedent's estate under Section 18-10

Expands the 4th class of claims to include reasonable and necessary medical, hospital, and nursing home expenses for care during the year immediately preceding death

Removes "expenses attending the last illness" from the 4th class of claims, consolidating those expenses into the broader medical and nursing home expense category

Maintains employee wage claims of up to $800 per claimant for services rendered within 4 months prior to death in the 4th class

Takes effect upon becoming law
