IL SB3209

Amends the Capital Development Board Act to allow the Board to construct and repair buildings for public institutions of higher education using non-appropriated funds.

Requires mutual agreement between the Capital Development Board and the public institution of higher education before undertaking such construction or supervision work.

Modifies Section 4.01 to reference a new Section 9.01d as an authorized funding source for capital improvements.

Applies to buildings under the control or for the use of any public institution of higher education as defined in the Board of Higher Education Act.

Becomes effective immediately upon becoming law.
