SB3210 - State Law Enforcement Privacy Act

• Creates the State Law Enforcement Privacy Act to protect the residence address and county of residence information for State law enforcement officers, including State correctional officers.

• Requires government agencies to remove existing publicly available content containing State law enforcement officers' residence addresses or counties of residence and prohibits future public posting of this information without officer consent.

• Makes State law enforcement officers' residence address and county of residence exempt from Freedom of Information Act requests unless the officer provides written consent to disclosure.

• Prohibits persons, businesses, and associations from publicly posting, soliciting, selling, or trading State law enforcement officers' residence address or county information on the Internet with intent to pose an imminent and serious threat to the officer or their immediate family.

• Amends the Freedom of Information Act Section 7.5 to add residence address and county of residence of State law enforcement officers as a statutory exemption from public disclosure.
