• Amends Section 34-1 of the School Code concerning the Chicago School District Article with a technical change to definitions
• Applies only to cities with a population exceeding 500,000
• Defines "Trustees" as the Chicago School Reform Board of Trustees created by the 1995 amendatory act, serving as the governing board from appointment until June 30, 1999 or appointment of a new Chicago Board of Education under Section 34-3, whichever is later
