IL SB3305

Amends the Illinois Employment First Act by adding Section 15.5 regarding ABLE accounts for individuals with disabilities.

Requires the Department of Human Services, Department of Healthcare and Family Services, and all applicable State agencies to study how ABLE account programs can maximize employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities.

Directs State agencies to examine ways individuals with disabilities can work more hours per week at their discretion while utilizing ABLE accounts.

Mandates each State agency submit a report of findings and recommendations to the General Assembly no later than 90 days after the effective date.

Requires agencies to include recommendations on increasing awareness of the ABLE account program among individuals with disabilities in the workforce.
