Federal firearms licensees (excluding licensed curios and relics collectors) operating from a permanent place of business must maintain either video surveillance on all entrances and exits or an alarm monitoring system connected to local law enforcement.

Federal firearms licensees may not allow employees to conduct firearm sales or transfers unless the employee possesses a valid Firearm Owner's Identification Card or concealed carry license, or is verified to not be prohibited from possessing firearms under state or federal law.

Federal firearms licensees must ensure that any employee selling or transferring firearms receives at least 2 hours of training on laws governing firearm sales and transfers during the duration of the license.

Violations of these requirements constitute a Class B misdemeanor.
