Appropriates $22,325,800 from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the State Appellate Defender for ordinary and contingent expenses, including personal services ($17,007,600), social security contributions ($1,300,500), contractual services ($2,658,000), and other operational costs.

Appropriates $120,000 from the General Revenue Fund for ordinary and contingent expenses of the Expungement Program.

Appropriates $70,000 from the General Revenue Fund to provide statewide training to Public Defenders under the Public Defender Training Program.

Appropriates $305,000 from the General Revenue Fund to develop a Juvenile Defender Resource Center.

Appropriates $150,000 from the State Appellate Defender Federal Trust Fund for expenses related to federally assisted programs, with an effective date of July 1, 2018.
