Declares May 4, 2017 as "Bluebird Project Day" in the State of Illinois to recognize student efforts in The Bluebird Project.

Honors students and teachers from Pontiac Township High School, TriPoint High School, Prairie Central schools, and Heartland Community College who collaborated on installing hundreds of bluebird houses to restore eastern bluebirds to their native habitat.

Recognizes the teamwork and cooperation demonstrated by students, schools, and communities in this environmental restoration project and its community event, the second annual Bluebird Festival.

Urges other Illinois schools to undertake similar efforts to strengthen communities, beautify the environment, and build camaraderie across the state.

Directs delivery of resolution copies to participating schools: Pontiac Township High School, TriPoint High School, Prairie Central Grade School, Prairie Central High School, and Heartland Community College.
