Recognizes Norman R. Bobins, a Chicago native and banker who has served the Illinois banking industry for five decades starting in 1967 at American National Bank and Trust Company.

Notes Bobins' career progression including joining Exchange National Bank in 1981 (later acquired by LaSalle Bank) and retiring as chairman, president, and chief executive officer of ABN AMRO and LaSalle Bank Corporation in 2007.

Acknowledges his current roles as non-executive chairman of The PrivateBank and Trust Company in Chicago, non-executive chairman of Transco, Inc., and board member of AAR CORP., Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc., and RREEF America REIT II.

Honors Bobins' extensive community service including four consecutive four-year terms on the Chicago Board of Education, chairmanship of WTTW Communications, and board memberships with the Auditorium Theatre, Field Museum, Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, Navy Pier, and other civic organizations.
