Urges Congress to retain the Federal Historic Tax Credit (FHTC) in tax reform legislation currently before Congress.

Notes that between fiscal year 2002 and 2016, the FHTC financed 269 projects in Illinois, generating over $3 billion in development and more than 45,000 jobs.

Identifies at-risk Illinois historic projects including Lathrop Homes, the Old Chicago Post Office, Old Cook County Hospital, and buildings in Batavia, Rockford, LaSalle, Moline, Peoria, and Belleville.

Warns that eliminating the FHTC would jeopardize Illinois's River Edge Historic Tax Credit program and revitalization projects in Aurora, Elgin, Peoria, and Rockford.

Directs delivery of the resolution to President Trump, congressional leadership, and all members of the Illinois Congressional Delegation.
