Illinois Senate expresses condolences for the death of Pastor Henry L. Woods Sr., who passed away on May 28, 2018

Pastor Woods was born December 8, 1953 in Birmingham, Alabama and relocated to Waukegan, Illinois in 1972

Served as Pastor of Christian Valley Missionary Baptist Church in North Chicago beginning October 20, 2002, and was licensed and ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in 1994

Survived by his daughter Lisha Woods, sons Henry L. and Darrell Woods, multiple siblings, and six grandchildren

Senate directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to Pastor Woods' family as an expression of sympathy
