Eugene Albert "Teener" Philipp of Woodstock passed away on July 10, 2018, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and loved ones.

Philipp was born September 20, 1926, served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was elected city clerk of Woodstock in 1969.

He worked for McHenry County Title Company for 44 years before retiring in 1988 and was a charter member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Woodstock.

Philipp is survived by daughters Kristine Victory and Kathleen Philipp, a granddaughter, three great-grandchildren, and special daughter Kimberly "Kimski" Hoesel.

A suitable copy of the resolution will be presented to Philipp's family as an expression of the Senate's deepest sympathy.
