Illinois Senate mourns the death of Thomas Edward "Tom" Mulligan Jr. of Bloomington, who passed away on July 8, 2018

Tom Mulligan was born March 27, 1927 in Glen Ellyn, served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1946, and earned an accounting degree from the University of Michigan in 1951

He worked as a certified public accountant and chief financial officer at FS Services (later Growmark) until his retirement in 1986, and was active in his church and community foundations

He is survived by three children, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his sister

The Senate extends condolences to his family and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to the Mulligan family
