Illinois Senate expresses condolences for the death of Raymond Rayburn Mayfield, who passed away on June 30, 2018.

Mayfield was born August 19, 1950, in Waukegan to Postel and Rosie Mayfield; graduated from North Chicago Community High School and married Linda Taylor on November 3, 1974.

Mayfield was a member of Zion Temple Church of God in Christ in Zion and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan who maintained a 1957 Chevrolet.

Mayfield is survived by his wife Linda, son Kwantez, sisters Mae Berta Poole and Gloria Carr, brother John, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Senate directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Mayfield's family as an expression of sympathy.
