Van Cybulski passed away on July 13, 2018; he was born in Poland on October 29, 1932, to Walter and Wladyslawa Cybulski and immigrated to the United States with his family before World War II.

Served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Japan during the Korean War; worked as a skilled tradesman, pattern maker, and machinist for over 40 years, including 20 years in the science department at Lake Forest College before retiring in 1996.

Married Donna Bollman on August 9, 1953; settled in North Chicago and later moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona after retirement.

Was preceded in death by his wife Donna, son Walter Cybulski, and siblings Bogdon Tadeusz and Zenia Killian; survived by daughter Angela S. Dubrovin, sons Mark A. and Van A. Cybulski, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Illinois Senate extends condolences to Van Cybulski's family and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of sympathy.
