Illinois Senate honors the memory of Yvette Ann "Cookie" Littleton Jarvis, born January 19, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to Julious and Mary Littleton.

Yvette graduated from Evanston Township High School at age 16, earned accounting certifications, and worked for oil companies including Chevron and Shell in Houston.

She worked as an accountant for Network Communications, Incorporated for 25 years in Atlanta, later worked for the Hard Rock restaurant, and was a tax preparer and member of Peace Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia.

She was known for cooking for friends and family, feeding the homeless, and using her computer skills to create family calendars for sharing.

A suitable copy of the resolution shall be presented to Yvette Jarvis's surviving family members, including her four children, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and seven siblings.
