Steve Sharnik of Moline died on July 10, 2018; he was born March 21, 1926 in Mocanaqua, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Marie Sharnik.

Served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and graduated from Pennsylvania State University; married Alberta G. Wisor on November 28, 1958.

Worked as a foreman in the Tool Department at John Deere and retired in 1983.

Member of Sacred Heart Church and the Sacred Heart Resurrection Choir; preceded in death by his wife Alberta and survived by his son Steve S. Sharnik and many nieces and nephews.

Illinois Senate extends condolences to Sharnik's family and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to them.
