Robert "Bob" F. Fuchs of Woodstock died on July 6, 2018, at the age of 90.

Served in the United States Army from November 10, 1950 to October 28, 1952 during the Korean War and worked as a painter at Woodstock Die Casting.

Known for his gardening skills and generosity, sharing produce with family, friends, and neighbors; in later years was recognized as a prominent local figure at community restaurants.

Preceded in death by his wife Eileen, parents, sister Barbara K. Kopsell, and brother Thomas G. Fuchs.

Illinois Senate extends condolences to his surviving children (Shirley, Robert J., and Lynda), grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sister Mary Beth Fuchs, and extended family.
