Honors Doris Ivy, who passed away on June 29, 2018, and was the sister of Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White.

Recognizes her life including her childhood in Alton, marriage to Augusta Ivy in 1951, and 10 children; she worked in the service industry and helped with family business ventures on Chicago's West Side.

Notes her kidney transplant in 1991 inspired Secretary White to become an advocate for organ and tissue donation and prioritize the Organ/Tissue Donor Registry.

Acknowledges her decades of community service including work as an election judge, 30+ years coordinating food distribution for seniors, singing at Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, and 25 years as Worthy Matron of the William V. Banks Grand Lodge Order of the Eastern Star.

Extends condolences to her surviving family including Secretary White, sister Cora, seven children, 12 of 17 grandchildren, 39 of 40 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
